Our Mission.......
The mission of the Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center is to provide a place for adults 55 and older to gather for recreational, educational and social activities and to alleviate isolation and loneliness among the elderly.
The center offers over 60 programs in arts & crafts, music, exercise & wellness, social games & activities, education, daily nutritious lunch and special events and services. Annual membership is only $40.
 The center offers many volunteer opportunities as well. From teaching, to cooking, to office help and special events, there is something for everyone at your Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center. Horseshoe Tournament and Lunch with World Champion Joan Elmore
Wednesday, September 21,  11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

The community is invited to attend, or participate in, the Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center’s annual horseshoe tournament.  Folks can play or just watch as World Champion Joan Elmore and Woody Story demonstrate/coordinate the tournament (demonstration at Noon), with prizes being awarded to first and second place teams. To sign up for a team, please stop by the center on Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

In conjunction with the tournament, the Center is hosting a cookout for lunch (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM). Fresh off the grill hamburger or hotdog baskets will be available for $7.00. Included are chips, cookie and soft drink or bottled water. If unable to stay and eat, to go orders will be available, so put the Center on your calendar for lunch on September 21st.
